To launch our partnership with James Harden, we wanted to tell his origin story of growing up in Artesia where his pursuit for greatness began. However, we decided on-the-fly that the scripted VO was not doing his story justice. So I asked him some questions instead, and his interview soundbites turned into the perfect unscripted version that made it into the final cut.
